Theaterführung: Theater am Glacis

In the 2024/25 season, the Stadttheater Ingolstadt is once again cooperating with the Ingolstadt Adult Education Center: In a 90-minute guided tour of the Theater am Glacis, Artistic Director Oliver Brunner and Technical Director Jochen Reichler will provide exciting insights into the temporary theater building, which will serve as an alternative venue for the Grosses Haus during the general renovation.

The shimmering silver building, which was erected at the Altes Hallenbad site from spring to fall/winter 2024, is made of spruce and fir wood. The roof and façades are clad with profiled sheeting. The structure is therefore made almost entirely of wood. From 2020 to 2022, the building stood in St. Gallen in Switzerland and was used as an interim venue for the St. Gallen Theater.
