On Saturday, September 13, 2025, more than 30 Hamburg theaters will celebrate the start of the new theater season with Theaternacht Hamburg. All participating theaters can be visited for one night with one ticket.
It starts from 3 to 7 pm with the family program, where the stage belongs to the little ones.
From 7 pm, the theaters open their doors for the evening program: exclusive premiere previews, exciting insights behind the scenes, artist talks, costume sales, hands-on theater, workshops, guided tours and much more. The Theater Night Hamburg shows Hamburg's stages in all their facets and whets the appetite for a new and exciting season. The grand after-show party at the Schmidtchen on the Reeperbahn will of course be the crowning glory of a brilliant night of theater.
