And the winner is...

The red carpet has been laid, the champagne has been chilled, the golden envelopes have been filled: after the exciting and thrilling festival weeks, the juries award the 23rd HEIDELBERGER THEATER PRIZE and the STUDENT JURY PRIZE to the outstanding competition productions of the year. In addition, the results of the audience vote will be announced, which will determine who takes home the Heidelberg Puck, this year's challenge cup of the Theater Days.

Rolf Breyer (e.g. The Busters) and Oliver Kuka (e.g. Tutu Toulouse) will provide the necessary glamor, framing and mixing the evening as a duo.

Rolf Breyer (bass, saxophone) and Oliver Kuka (guitars) have been a well-rehearsed team for many years and have played many stages together in numerous band formations such as Moonbees, Amini, Suave, Frank Pyne & The Ok Band and Out of the Box...

Now they perform as a duo and present a successful combination of double bass, saxophone and guitar. With their instrumental mixture of film music, jazz, pop and other sounds, they enchant their audience and take them on a special kind of sonic journey. Let yourself be enchanted by the beguiling melodies and the casual interplay of Breyer & Kuka!

The HEIDELBERGER THEATERTAGE 2024 is organized by the Freie Theaterverein Heidelberg e.V. in cooperation with the Karlstorbahnhof e.V., the festival is funded by the City of Heidelberg via the Cultural Office and by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg via the Landesverband Amateurtheater Baden-Württemberg e.V.
