The cozy atmosphere and free admission to the THEATRON MUSIKSOMMER have been attracting numerous visitors to the Seebühne stage in the Olympic Park for decades. And the Feierwerk is also back in August with a varied live program, this year even on 14 days. So pack your picnic blankets and enjoy the concerts on the steps in front of the Olympic Lake. You'll have the best view of the stage. You can relax and unpack your snack or enjoy the many stalls on the grounds. We look forward to seeing you!

Alma Naidu

For her eagerly awaited and self-produced second album, the multi-award-winning Munich singer Alma Naidu has set herself some ambitious goals. REDEFINE is the title on the cover - and what it says on the CD cover is what the new songs contain. Because Alma Naidu is subjecting herself, her music, the times we live in, role models and some social developments to a check. A major undertaking - which she accomplishes with a great deal of empathy, understanding and the will to change.

The material on REDEFINE marks an impressive step in the development of Alma Naidu, who was once named one of the most promising singers on the German scene by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. Because this album is about far more than striking singing skills and songs with substance. Her debut, the great singer-songwriter jazz album Alma, already indicated that Alma Naidu is a young woman with unusual depth. She has now expanded on this. REDEFINE is music with a message.

On this special evening, she will present the album together with her band in her home town.

Nils Kugelmann Trio

Life Score (ACT) is the soundtrack to a cinematic, still quite young life in which an almost fairytale-like amount has happened. The Berlin bassist from Munich, Nils Kugelmann, has risen in record time to become one of the shooting stars of German jazz, has been rightly showered with prizes and has given both critics and the public the impression that this is someone who is here to stay and who will take jazz forward with his verve, enthusiasm, skill and insatiable curiosity.

Following his acclaimed debut album Stormy Beauty (ACT), which was promptly nominated for the German Record Critics' Award and landed in the European jazz charts, Kugelmann is now touring nationally and internationally with his new album.

This new program from Kugelmann's pen manages more than ever to touch the audience, entertain them and make their heads nod. Melodies that inspire meet harmonies that won't let you go. And always audible: Kugelmann's love of groove. Or quite simply "music that gets under your skin." (SWR)
