THEATRON MUSIKSOMMER 2025: CECI & CAITLIN DALTON

The cozy atmosphere and free admission to the THEATRON MUSIKSOMMER have been attracting numerous visitors to the lake stage in the Olympic Park for decades. And the Feierwerk is also back in August with a varied live program, this year even on 14 days from 11 to 24 August. So pack your picnic blankets and enjoy the concerts on the steps in front of the Olympic Lake - with the best view of the stage. You can relax and unpack your snack there or enjoy the many stalls on the grounds. And of course dance 🙂 We look forward to seeing you!

The Theatron MusikSommer is organized by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich in cooperation with the Social Department of the City of Munich, the Feierwerk e.V., and the Munich Media Center of the JFF - Jugend Film Fernsehen e.V., with the support of Olympiapark München GmbH and Hieber Lindberg.

The acts

CECI

CECI, the 23-year-old German-Canadian, embodies what it means to live music as an artist and producer. Together with three of her friends from the Frequenzgarten Studios in Augsburg, CECI forms a strong and passionate live band. With her light and captivating songs and the support of Nick (keys), Jonas (bass) and Simon (drums), the artist is now able to share the full energy and power of her gentle songs with the audience. Sophisticated live arrangements and CECI's stage presence ensure that the audience hangs on her every word.

CECI brings new, soothing music to the people who want to listen. Her goal: to create a safe space for everyone. With her gentle but awakening voice, she captures the attention of all listeners to show them a world full of love and well-being. CECI is inspired by artists such as Pappooz, Tom Misch, "Mar Malade", Olivia Dean, "The Beatles", CATT and many more. She ventures into different musical genres, which she casually describes as "feel-good indie soul".

Thanks to her commitment, CECI had the opportunity to tour Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the artist CATT and the band "Mar Malade" in 2023, reaching many new fans with her music. In 2024, she was given the opportunity to perform at showcase festivals such as Waves Vienna (AT), the Reeperbahn Festival (DE) and the Nürnberg Pop Festival (DE). (Source: Artist)

CAITLIN DALTON

Singer/songwriter CAITLIN DALTON, who grew up in the Ruhr area and has roots in Australia, has called Munich her musical home for several years. Her multi-faceted music, influenced by pop, folk rock and soulful sounds, is full of authenticity and is inspired by artists such as KT Tunstall and P!nk. She shares her songs in different settings, capturing the life and emotions of a twenty-something.

The musical journey began in 2020 with the release of the first single"Love" and three further songs. A decisive milestone in 2022 was the release of the debut album"Entropy", which focuses on the chaotic experiences of the early twenties according to the physical principle of disorder. The album is characterized by heartbreak, self-love, depression and precious friendships.

Striving for further musical development and an increased live presence with her five-piece band, she has already conquered stages at events such as the "Wellbeing for Life Festival" and the Starnberger Kultursommer. She is not stopping there and is looking for more great events and stages to share her powerful, unconventional energy with a wider audience. (Source: artist)
