The acts

KAPA TULT

"Here's another recommendation for all friends of German-language super hits. Do you already know Kapa Tult?" - Linus Volkmann, Musikexpress

In their indie hit"½ Cappucino", KAPA TULT sing "Komm wir geh'n auf Tour" - and that's exactly what they're doing now.

With their debut album"Es schmeckt nicht" and two new singles in their luggage, KAPA TULT denounce the banal grievances of our time: Too many bad Hollywood movies, too few therapy places. Also: no licking cloths in supermarkets, booty calls that turn out to be care calls and friends who are always busy - "because everyone is improving the world or themselves".

A KAPA TULT concert is like: A date that starts off romantically, but somehow doesn't end up being much more than cake-eating. Standing in the schoolyard and asking yourself: "Why is everyone one of the cool kids and I'm always just standing next to them?" Running into walls and feeling desperate because: "I want to change everything, I just don't know how". The good news is that other people seem to feel the same way.

"Kapa Tult come from Leipzig, their punky indie pop is characterized by lo-fi aesthetics, especially the lyrics have it all: diary-like, they sing about fears, insecurities, complicated and simple relationships. And, quite explicitly, about sex. Above all lies a relaxed, natural feminist attitude." - Martin Böttcher, Tagesspiegel

"Kapa Tult is "power pop including rock freak-out, to which fun and feminism embrace each other." - Rebecca Spilker, Musikexpress (Source: Bandinfo)

PIPPA

PIPPA is a Viennese artist with a knack for poppy, catchy, danceable melodies. Her signature sound sometimes ventures into the spheres of experimental electronics, only to give way at other times to a calm carpet of instruments on which thoughtful but always hopeful lyrics are embedded.

Sometimes so straightforward that it is both liberating and frightening, at other times abstract, almost fairytale-like, PIPPA tells of her world, which suddenly seems very familiar. For"Alles Ok", a single from her successful third studio album"Blick", PIPPA was nominated for the Austrian Amadeus Music Award 2024 for Best Songwriter.

The fact that PIPPA is not satisfied with a straightforward life in the comfort zone is now proven once again by the artist in a new creative phase, which was heralded by the single"Nichts Tun", released in May 2024.

"Nichts Tun" is an anti-anthem and ode to everything that has no place in our meritocracy. PIPPA shovels free a taboo whose existence can make you so tired - resting. In the other songs on her fourth studio album"Träume auf Zement" (Dreams on Cement), PIPPA stomps just as light-footedly on slaying norms and a path that leads to a realization that raises new questions: "Curiosity is a strange animal. It eats out of your hand and then throws up on you." (Source: Booking Agency)

THE FURTHER PROSPECTS

DIE WEITEREN AUSSICHTEN are a shared flat party in concert form: people dance to indie rock from the 2000s in the living room, tears flow in the kitchen during deep conversations and at the end you go home with new friendships and a pinch of melancholy.

DIE WEITEREN AUSSICHTEN are so direct and honest in their lyrics that you sometimes wish they would lie a little more. Isolation, loss and the absurdity of life meet an unshakeable lightness that always leaves only love in the end. No wonder the band was awarded the prize for "Best Lyrics" at the local heroes national final in 2024.

Musically, the band moves between German indie greats such as "Kettcar" and international indie insiders' tips such as "Frightened Rabbit" and "We Were Promised Jetpacks".

Her single"Die Makrele, die nicht ganz zufrieden war" was streamed over 40,000 times on Spotify and made it onto the "Fresh Finds GSA" playlist. Listening to the songs on their self-produced EP"Heiter bis wolkig", you might initially think they were a singer/songwriter project - and in 2023, that might still have been the case.

But in 2025, DIE WEITEREN AUSSICHTEN show live where the journey is really heading: more rousing, more energetic and with distorted guitars that take the band's sound to a new level. 2024 was a formative year: in addition to winning the "Best Lyrics" prize at the local heroes national final, the band took part in the renowned Popkurs Hamburg and was accepted into the top pop rlp Masterclass support program.

With their combination of authenticity, humor and musical precision, DIE WEITEREN AUSSICHTEN are working to establish themselves as a permanent fixture in the German indie rock scene. (Source: Bandinfo)
