The cozy atmosphere and free admission to the THEATRON MUSIKSOMMER have been attracting numerous visitors to the Seebühne stage in the Olympic Park for decades. And the Feierwerk is also back in August with a varied live program, this year even on 14 days. So pack your picnic blankets and enjoy the concerts on the steps in front of the Olympic Lake. You'll have the best view of the stage. You can relax and unpack your snack or enjoy the many stalls on the grounds. We look forward to seeing you!

SUZAN KÖCHER'S SUPRAFON

SUZAN KÖCHER'S SUPRAFON play psychedelic music between Dreampop, Indie, Krautrock, Disco, '60s Vibes, Desert Americana, Soundtrack - sinister, melodic, atmospheric and hallucinating!

With their music, which carries you away as if on a river, the band has wowed audiences at the Traumzeit Festival, Burg Herzberg Festival, SXSW in Austin, TX, the Reeperbahn Festival and WDR Rockpalast, among others. Their new album"In These Dying Times" was released in October 2024 on Unique Records.

"I started writing songs when I was 14 because I was afraid to talk about things and be rejected. Music was my way of saying what I think" - an experience that the German-Turkish musician SUZAN KÖCHER shares with many, especially other women.

With her debut album"Moon Bordeaux" (2017, Unique Records), which was celebrated by radio and press, she went on tour with her band, played festivals such as the Maifeld Derby and Orange Blossom Special and began to make a name for herself in Germany.

The music on the second album"Suprafon", recorded in 2019 in Austin, TX, became more experimental and developed in the direction of dreampop and psychedelia. The current unrest and events in world history can be clearly felt on the new album"In These Dying Times". The album deals with the tragedy of the present, with powerlessness and the ever-widening cracks in our society.
With the album, the band looks to the future and the past, but remains completely focused on their own feelings. It is about self-empowerment and self-discovery, about forgiving oneself. But also about escapism, about fears and overcoming them.

KING PIGEON

With their new single"More Loss of Control", the Munich-based indie band KING PIGEON are breaking new musical ground and dancing towards a loss of control.

The rhythmic sequence of the synthesizer makes you sit up and take notice right from the start. Supported by clean guitars and a driving bass, the song builds up tension that is only released when the house piano opens the chorus. The polyphonic vocals lead into a bridge that clearly shows what the song wants: "to dance, to dance, to dance".

In addition to their proven, simple composition, KING PIGEON increasingly rely on elements from disco and house, such as bongos, shakers and sequencers. Both musically and in terms of content, the song deals with breaking free from obligations and needs as well as from the time and place around you. The music acts as a "transit station", allowing you to fully surrender to the loss of control for a moment.

KING PIGEON released their EP"By Your Side" in 2024. All singles ended up in several curator playlists on Spotify (e.g. Indie Brandneu) immediately after release and together reached more than 150k streams.
KING PIGEON works together with producer Willy Löster ("BRUCKNER", "LaBrassBanda"), among others. With"More Loss Of Control" the first single of a new LP is released, which the band will release in 2026. (Source: Bandinfo)

FRUITY AFTERTASTE

Flower meadows, self-discovery and dark dystopias. The music of the band FRUCHTIGER BEIGESCHMACK is thematically about the diversity of feelings and reality.

The German-language indie band from Munich combines many different themes as well as the most diverse genres and sounds from all over the world. Jazz influences in particular are reflected here and a completely new mixture of indie pop and jazz, so-called indie jazz, is created.

Milena (vocals, piano), Hugo Levi (bass, guitar, vocals) and Felix (drums, piano, arrangements) released their first EP"Script I. des nichts" in October 2024. Followed by the singles"Rote Zahlen" in December and"Stille" in February, in which they demonstrate their diversity and love of jazz.

On stage, as in real life, the band can conjure lighters out of their pockets, dance the night away and tear down huts. (Source: Booking Agency)
