Longtime Escape With Romeo keyboarder Potti on the road with new project

After his time with Escape With Romeo, Potti will be presenting his new band theH80s for the first time at GREND in Essen-Steele on 20.09.2025 - a real labor of love!
What initially sounds like a cover band quickly turns out to be very modern music from a decade that, for him and his old companions, singer Jen Sohns and drummer Bernd vom Dorp, is more than just songs that "remind you of the old days" - after all, they formed the cornerstone of their musical socialization! "We don't cover,
we celebrate!"
They are joined by the brothers Rasmus (bass) and Mattis Stachowski (guitar), two young, wild professionals who make the whole thing even more electrifying with their fresh energy. The band has the following to say about this project:
"The 80s... hated by many, the decade of the greatest aberrations of taste. As children and children's children of the music of the 80s, it is theH80s' personal concern to make the special songs from the various genres of that strange era their own. It doesn't feel like they are covering, but simply interpreting the music that belongs to them by birthright with an idiosyncratic, snotty, rocking indie attitude!"
