Look forward to a wild evening with two exciting newcomers from the indie/postpunk scene in Kreuzberg's Junction Bar.

These Modern Architects were founded in 2022 and inspire with their melodic, energetic mix of alternative and indie rock. The musicians led by Australian frontman Drew Langford released their first songs in 2024 and have been creating unforgettable moments with rousing live shows ever since.

What was already true for the predecessor band Cassettes is even more true for COVVES. The mixture of indie rock with fast, danceable beats and British retro garage sound is convincing: a sold-out gig at the Milla and a support show for The Coathangers at the Strom are the best proof. After a line-up change and name change, the three guys are currently recording new singles on their own - the result will be presented live on stage at COVVES, including a sweat-inducing show!
