2025 is once again all about old school dark electro and electro industrial.
It is a great pleasure for us to present you the "Lessons In Humility 2025" tour for the new album Octagram by Fïx8:Sëd8.
Lineup:
2nd Face from Mainz
2nd Face is the brainchild of Mainz-based musician Vincent Uhlig, who is undoubtedly one of the biggest talents in electro industrial.
The debut album "Nemesis", released in 2017, was widely acclaimed as "Newcomer of the Year" and not only received critical acclaim, but also sold extremely well. With the EP "Nihilum" (2018), 2nd Face E confirmed their exceptional talent and status as a fast-rising new star in the industrial sky. With "utOpium", 2nd Face have made a quantum leap in quality and the sound of this album is sure to set standards in the industrial genre for years to come.
Live, Vincent will be supported by Max on drums and Martin Sane (Fïx8:Sëd8) on synths.
kFactor from Sao Paulo, Brazil
kFactor began in the mid-90s and combines Belgian EBM influences from the 80s such as Vomito Negro, Signal Aout 42 and The Klinik with its unique, dark and often unconventional feel.
Lauro Guedes Junior creates a distinctive sound characterized by rich, layered, synth-driven textures.
Datavoid from Austin, Texas
When two musicians of old school dark electro and electro industrial join forces for a joint project, it can only be great. They are none other than James Mendez (Jihad) and Don Gordon (Numb).
Both artists have been active for more than 30 years this year and can, without exaggeration, be described as legends of the genre.
Data Void's music combines NUMB's driving rhythms and haunting sound design with Jihad's dark melodies.
At Through The Night 2025, our friend James will perform the songs from their debut album "Strategies of Dissent" for us.
Fïx8:Sëd8 from Kelsterbach
Not much more needs to be said about Fïx8:Sëd8.
What do you do when your favorite bands have taken a creative break or disbanded and the sounds you love most are no longer being produced? You can mourn and listen to the old albums and songs again and again, or you can use your musical education and start writing and recording music yourself. With his first two self-released albums "Humanophobia" (2006) and "Dormicum" (2009), Martin Sane hit the nerve of the ravenous old school electro industrial and dark electro scene. Songs like Monolith or The Needle can be described as classics of the scene without exaggeration.
On a musical level, mastermind Martin Sane remains true to the course he set with further albums such as "Foren6" (2017), "Warning Signs" (2019) and "The Inevitable Relapse" (2021). Under the clear influence of Canadian cult acts such as SKINNY PUPPY and FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, Martin Sane has developed his own unmistakable style that oscillates between dark electronics and catchy passages. By continuously moving away from their musical role models, Fïx8:Sëd8 have established their own sound worlds, which is similar to the development of artistic soul mates such as MENTALLO & THE FIXER and HAUJOBB. This is evident both in their unerring songwriting and on the production side, which is almost as important in the electronic genre.
With the 2025 album Octagram, Fïx8:Sëd8 will once again delight lovers of old school electro industrial and dark electro.
We can look forward to a unique and elaborate show with countless visual highlights in Kiel.
