On their first tour since 2011, the Throwing Muses 2025 will tour Europe as a three-piece under the direction of Kristin Hersh.

Kristin Hersh remains one of the most unique talents of her generation, an acclaimed and gifted songwriter and tireless touring musician. Between 1989 and 2003, she released six albums with the Throwing Muses on 4AD and Rough Trades, and the two 4AD albums The Real Ramona (1991) and Red Heaven (1992) in particular are considered influential milestones in female indie rock. Since 1994 she has mostly been on the road as a solo musician with records on 4AD and Fire Records, among others.
