Once upon a time ...

Pianist Tigran Hamasyan is constantly reinventing himself: as a child he learned classical piano, then switched to jazz and enjoyed great success first in his native Armenia and then internationally. Armenian musical traditions characterize his music, which has touches of rock, folk, classical and more. Now Tigran Hamasyan is coming to Hamburg with his program "The Bird of a Thousand Voices" - a fascinating production of an ancient Armenian legend about courage and forgiveness, self-knowledge and rebirth.
