in the Becker
The puppets I called
Ventriloquist Tim Becker plays with puppets. Or do the puppets play with him?
The stubborn creatures are anything but well-behaved, but nevertheless endearing and enchanting thanks to their bitterly wicked humor.
They take the upper hand in crazy dialogs and pull him through the crazy world of his own show like a bull by the nose ring.
The fabric softener is disposed of and the spin cycle is activated when the pizza is lashing out with punchlines, the snail is spreading its word slime and the aggro bunny is ranting about world events in his best manner.
The puppets he summoned maltreat their creator and the madness is given free rein. Much to the delight of the audience.
Tim Becker
Tim Becker performs stand-up comedy with puppets without taboos and mercilessly develops puppet conversations with a high density of humor, unerring punchlines and recognizable quirks from the everyday lives of "completely" normal people. His troupe tells stories that Tim has picked up in real life, focusing on the infectiously funny and quirky idiosyncrasies of the characters. He unerringly projects the characteristics, dialects or simply oddities onto his fluffy protagonists. The humor is anything but well-behaved, sometimes biting and incomparably funny. His puppetry is so convincing that the audience forget they are just watching a puppet. With his solo show "Die Puppen, die ich rief" (The Puppets I Called), he has been delighting theater stages throughout the German-speaking world, on TV and social media for years.
