Waiblingen - Between number magic, self-irony and musical subtleties: On Friday, October 17, mathematics professor and cabaret artist Timm Sigg will be performing his solo program "Die Leiden des jungen Professors - Tiefgründiges in b-Moll" at the Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen.
The evening begins at 8 pm - and promises clever entertainment for all those who enjoy subtle humor, subtle observation and musical eloquence.

Timm Sigg, whose main profession is Professor of Mathematics at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, is swapping the lecture hall for the stage for this evening. What began in 2014 with his first performances on the piano has developed into a full-length solo program with which Sigg delights audiences in southern Germany. The focus is on the character traits of nerds - their quirkiness, but also their lovable sides. Sigg manages to sing about numbers with the same passion with which others talk about love relationships.

His program is characterized by a successful mixture of self-irony and wordplay that makes the audience laugh and think. The Badische Neueste Nachrichten already attested to him: "Between nerds, flutes and clarinets [...] With his talent for gag point landings, he could also have become a professional comedian."
