Tino Ribeiro Quintett

The quintet of bassist and composer Tino Ribeiro presents a new repertoire.

Reflections on "Restructualism, Stylism, Traditionalism" lead to the presentation of a selection of original works as well as arrangements of "non-genre" compositions. Together with tenor saxophonist Christopher Kunz, Berthold Brauer on trumpet, Hakim Azmi on piano and percussionist Lenny Rehm, these will be further developed in the search for musical solutions. The significance of form and framework will be reexamined here, inspired by the greats of Black American/creative music....
