Tischlein Denk Dich

In the organizer's words:

The Spielfeld team is delighted to invite you to a new format: "Tischlein Denk Dich"! An evening dedicated to exciting conversations about the big issues of our time. In a relaxed dinner atmosphere, we want to exchange ideas, gain fresh perspectives and think about the future together. The idea: 20 guests at a large table with food and drinks, current social issues and two experienced moderators to guide you through the evening.

Topic of the evening: "How much bubble is good for you?"

The word bubble describes the tendency to exchange ideas with people who are of a similar opinion. Bubbles arise, for example, with hobbies, personal topics or political opinions. Algorithms on social media that repeatedly display similar content also play a role. On the one hand, this can create spaces of exchange for marginalized people, but at the same time there are fewer and fewer encounters.

At a time when we are increasingly living in digital and analog "bubbles", we are asking the question:

• How much of this is really good for us?
• What opportunities and risks does it bring if we mainly interact with like-minded people?
• How much do these bubbles influence our thinking, our attitudes and our actions?

Together, we want to discuss what it means for us personally and as a society to live in a bubble - and whether we should perhaps leave it from time to time.

Procedure

The evening starts with a drink and a moderated discussion round in which everyone has the opportunity to contribute their own thoughts briefly and concisely. Our moderators ensure a good flow of conversation and a respectful exchange. Then it's time to eat: a relaxed and delicious dinner where you can get to know us and the other guests better and explore the topics in more depth.

At the end, we will gather your impressions and ideas for future meetings in a short reflection round.
