TŌ YŌ

The Tokyo-based quartet Tō Yō joins a long and interesting history of Japanese psychedelic rock bands, but at the same time integrates the sensibilities of young people in today's Tokyo into its music.

Tō Yō's sound is at once unique and yet familiar - but it is also moving. "Our psychedelic sound is sometimes violent, sometimes naive," says singer and guitarist Masami Makino, "but we also believe that our sound should awaken the most primitive senses to sublimate the rise of the soul and its uncontrollable impulses."

Tō Yō is an ambitious band with an ambitious vision - so it's no surprise that some of their biggest influences are known for complex, groundbreaking visions; Far East Family Band, J. A. Seazer and Jimi Hendrix are among the band's main sources of inspiration.

KRAUTMOTOR

KRAUTMOTOR is a band from Freiburg founded in 2023 and forms an energetic power trio. With Nick (Lightrain) on guitar, Flo on bass and synthesizer (Sound of Smoke) and Zach on drums and vocals (The Barbituates/Ireland), the three play a mixture of psychedelic, kraut and space rock.
Their sound is characterized by psychedelic sounds, long improvised jams and atmospheric elements that alternate with powerful passages. Their music takes you on a journey into the unknown and lets you immerse yourself in other dimensions.
