Cologne Comedy Festival 2025
Premiere
The queer stand-up comedian Tobias Born brings his humorous and socially critical show to the stages of Germany. He makes a powerful statement against patriarchal structures and for more feminism - all with a good dose of glitter, sequins and good humor.
In his first solo program, Tobias Born celebrates the freaks of everyday life: the freak in each of us, the bizarre sides of life and the importance of allowing more freakiness. Whether it's about stuffy game nights, extremist Thermomix owners or other crazy everyday situations - he shows why it's so liberating to let your own freak out, celebrate yourself and enjoy life with all its colorful facets. His appeal to the audience is: be yourself, because everyone else already exists. It's time to embrace your own quirks, let more freaks into the country and stand up together for an open, diverse society.
This show not only brings new perspectives to the German cultural landscape, but also a lot of glitter - because who says that change can't be sparkling?
