Tom Walker with new album "I Am" on tour in Germany this fall

Tom Walker doesn't make music to please everyone and keep to himself. Quite the opposite: the singer/songwriter has made a name for himself, taking his debut album "What A Time To Be Alive" to the top of the charts and winning his Brit Award for being so open-hearted. This blistering emotional honesty, reflected in his soul-searching vocals, can also be found in his latest songs: "Burn" is a pretty rousing, beat-driven reckoning after a painful break-up, a track on which Walker really shows off his soulful and powerful voice. "Freaking Out", on the other hand, is an astonishingly clear-sighted ADHD anthem about anxiety and loss of control that gives the Scotsman the opportunity to phrase sensitively and delicately. The third single release followed at the beginning of February with the soulfully harmonious pop anthem "Head Underwater".
In 2017, after many years as a street musician, Walker conquered the world with his first successful single "Leave A Light On" and went platinum and gold many times over. The phenomenal international success of the song took the artist on tour around the globe and made him Best Breakthrough Act at the 2019 Brit Awards. His second big hit, "Just You And I", has reached half a billion streams and is the song to which thousands of people everywhere have said "I do". This success was reflected in his debut album, which also topped the charts in 2019. Tom Walker has now announced his second album, "I Am", for May 31, 2024. After a first live preview at the end of February, when Tom Walker will perform the new material in an intimate setting at Berlin's Lido, the Scottish singer/songwriter will of course also embark on an extended tour of Germany in the fall.
