With his unique blend of profound indie folk, cinematic pop and emotional depth, Scottish musician Tommy Ashby has earned himself a firm place in the international singer-songwriter scene in recent years. In 2025, he is finally bringing his new album Mantis to the stage live - and will also be stopping off in Berlin on November 29, 2025.

Ashby's music thrives on contrasts: warmth and fragility, vastness and intimacy. His songs tell of closeness, loss, light and shadow. Sometimes quiet and reduced, then again carried by dense, atmospheric soundscapes that also reflect his scientific exploration of sound spaces and psychoacoustic perception.
