Ten years ago, a little mouse named "Lindbergh" took off from Hamburg in his self-built airplane and landed on the other side of the Atlantic in New York after a spectacular flight. Since then, Torben Kuhlmann's mouse adventures have been published all over the world and in more than 30 languages.

After the picture books LINDBERGH, ARMSTRONG, EDISON and EINSTEIN, the fifth mouse adventure has now followed:

EARHART

For the voles, the boundaries of their vegetable garden are the boundaries of the world. But one of them dreams beyond them: she discovers a picture of a giant cat from Africa on a stamp. How does she get there? No burrowing machine can do it! A well-known mouse pilot helps her to build a flying machine. But our mouse has not reckoned with the colony's resistance ... In the end, the inquisitive mouse sets off on an adventurous journey, meets giant cats in Africa and a human woman who shares her passion for flying: Amelia Earhart.

Torben Kuhlmann

lives and works as a freelance children's book author and illustrator in Hamburg. He studied illustration and communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. He completed his studies in 2012 with his first mouse adventure "Lindbergh".

Kuhlmann is also the author of the picture books DIE GRAUE STADT and MAULWURFSTADT and has illustrated numerous books by other authors.
