Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands. Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

Toshín (Ireland, Nigeria, Berlin) is a Nigerian-born, Irish-raised, Berlin-based artist known for her powerful voice and electrifying stage presence. With a blend of soul, R&B, Afro-pop and theatrical storytelling , she creates immersive performances that captivate audiences with raw emotion, vibrant energy and authenticity.

A fixture on the Irish live music scene, Toshín has played festivals such as Electric Picnic and All Together Now and shared the stage with iconic artists such as Macy Gray, Gregory Porter and Madness.
