In the Ruhr region, "Trinkhallen" were declared intangible cultural heritage in 2020. Tata Ronkholz's photographs from the 1970s and 1980s certainly made a contribution to this. Her photographs of drinking halls quickly became a cult. The Becher student was an interior designer in her first profession and has obviously always been fascinated by drinking establishments.
