TOXIC (OmU) im Cinema Futuro

In the organizer's words:

You are perfect. But you don't feel that way. You feel too fat. Too thin. Too short or too tall. You think you're not beautiful enough. Not good enough. Too young. You desperately want to be older. Maybe then no one would notice that you don't belong here. Maybe then you would finally belong. For real. Finally be one of them.

With TOXIC, filmmaker Saulė Bliuvaitė has created a dark coming-of-age drama. It's about young girls and their dreams. And about absurd ideals of beauty that destroy them. Be there when things get toxic at Cinema Futuro. On March 10, 2025, as always with a curated supporting program and space for drinks and discussion afterwards.
