In the organizer's words:

DREAMS
by and with Jana Mila Lippitz and Sophie Meuresch

A performative, collaborative evening in which we prepare and eat an onion soup together. At the same time, we will talk about (personal) crying.

The project focuses on questions of participation, empathy and responsibility: Who cries how often and why? Who listens to whom and who is not heard? Who comforts and who is comforted? And in what form? And why does crying and caring so often take place in secret? Why we cry is often due to social circumstances. Crying is often not individual or self-inflicted, but an expression of social injustice. This imbalance should become visible in the evening. TRÄNEN brings dinner, cultural participation and performance together and creates a situation that connects rather than divides.
