„TRANSFORMERS. Akteure zur Nachhaltigkeit“

In the organizer's words:

What can still help against the climate crisis and which actors could finally turn the tide? This is the question addressed by 15 international artists who are now exhibiting their work at the Group Global 3000 gallery in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

Following last year's exhibition by Group Global 3000, which focused on the actors that are slowing things down, the focus is now on the forces that are contributing to the solution. The works show the current situation, address social transformations, look at the search for new structures, but also break completely new ground.

On display are paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations, as well as video works, including an experimental video collage about the climate activist Luisa Neubauer and video clips about a dystopian Wood Wide Web and an artificial ecosystem. Performances will also be shown, for example with building materials from peat soils (paludicultures). The exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive program of lectures, workshops and performances.
