Tratsch im Treppenhaus

Who doesn't know them - dear neighbors who always have the latest gossip at the ready, although they don't always take the truth too seriously. One such example is Meta Boldt! She lives with the retired tax inspector Ewald Brummer and the widow Knoop in a rented house. The widow has given her separate room to the young Heike Seefeldt. Young Dieter Brummer is no longer able to stay at home either, and so - to the displeasure of his uncle Ewald - he moves into his uncle's room. And of course Meta Boldt also makes fun of the new residents.

The television recordings by Norddeutscher Rundfunk made the play with Heidi Kabel (Mahler's wife) in the leading role known throughout Germany in the 1960s and proved to be extremely popular. Ohnsorg became cult. On the occasion of Heidi Mahler's 80th birthday, the Ohnsorg Theater and umbreit Entertainment are showing the classic comedy "Tratsch im Treppenhaus" (Gossip in the Stairwell) starring Heidi Mahler in her signature role as Meta Boldt.
