As "Ingo", he was the congenial counterpart to Olli Dittrich's "Dittsche" behind the TV snack counter. This earned him the German Television Award and the Grimme Award in Gold. He represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest with his band "Texas Lightning" and went gold and platinum with the No.1 hit "No No Never".

The musician and actor has long since shed his cowboy hat and turned his attention to the German language. Even the great Reinhard Mey says of his songs: "I wish there were still radio stations that played songs like this." And Olli Schulz says: "Jon Flemming Olsen is a fantastic musician." No question: Olsen is not only an excellent singer and multi-instrumentalist, he also writes beguilingly beautiful songs. This is also the case on his brand new, now fourth album: "Haus der Liebe": ballads without kitsch, humor with brains - and lyrics that resonate for a long time. Completely without ingratiation, schmaltz and corniness.

On stage, Olsen is a subtle entertainer and an impressive one-man band. With various guitars, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, foot percussion and a bag full of good stories.
