Opera star Lucio Gallo with a tribute to the great entertainer
An Italian opera baritone who sings Sinatra? Even at his audition at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, Taranto-born singer Lucio Gallo applied to sing the Frank Sinatra classic "New York, New York", attracting the attention of Elio Battaglia, who subsequently became his teacher there. Lucio Gallo has always remained true to Frank Sinatra, the master of American music. In addition to his signature roles as the Count and Figaro in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro", Scarpia in Puccini's "Tosca" and in the title roles in Mozart's "Don Giovanni", Verdi's "Falstaff" and "Macbeth", he is always happy to pay tribute to Sinatra. In his program, he meets strangers in the night, flies to the moon, sings about the Moon River ... and all in his own way, of course. He will be accompanied by the Claudio Chiara Jazz Quintet, who are celebrated as protagonists of the Italian jazz scene.
