A sinister disease suddenly breaks out in a fictitious town. It mercilessly seeks out its victims. How do the citizens deal with this existential threat? How far do their civilizational
values?
The play unfolds its drama in various independent scenes.
Once again, Ionesco, the master of absurd theater, shines with an unerring eye - and plenty of black humor.
