24 artists and one Trude
Vernissage: April 17, 2025, 7 pm
April 18 to 21, 2025, daily from 1 to 6 p.m., Free admission
For the 17th time, the Trudering Art Days are a special destination for an Easter stroll. Painting, photography, objects, sculptures: an expert jury has selected 24 creative artists from more than 170 submissions from all over Germany and neighboring countries to transform the cultural center at Wasserburger Landstraße 32 into a temple of art: the walls are even used in the smallest hallway. Guests from all generations talk to the creatives, vote and award two audience prizes of 700 and 500 euros - this year both donated by the Truderinger Kulturkreis, which organizes the event together with the supporting association of the cultural center, the Bürgerhausverein. The winner will also receive a bronze trophy designed by artist Andrea Matheisen, the Trude, who will hold up the "Trude ring" instead of a winner's crown. The works of the three artists represented on the jury, Mimi Mynz, Michael Lukas and Angelika Paschmann, will also be exhibited out of competition.
