EPILOG:

Epilog is the experimental pop music project by interdisciplinary artist Véra Marie Deubner. In avant-garde, electronic music, Epilog tells a story in different languages about surreal images and fragments of thoughts that move in a sound world between ambient, trap and dreampop. Together with the atmospheric vocals, a poignant mood is created that swallows the audience whole in its raw tenderness. UFER:

UFER, that's Jo and Carl Noë from Cologne-Ehrenfeld, meet Lebsanft in 2023 and the process of creating the album begins. After an EP on the Cologne label Musikkiste, the debut album "zu allem Überfluss" is released in November 2024 via Babygroove and Cargo Records. The pitching text for the first single describes the sound as "(...) avant-garde, contemporary German rap between shores like Blumfeld and Souly." In general, there are probably many pigeonholes for the overall project. Previous feedback has drawn on genres ranging from cloud rap to kraut and jazz. A stress factor for all those who deal in recordings. Each song remains in a well-produced, poppy guise for which Lebsanft, who acts as co-producer, is known in his bubble with his various projects such as "Wir Werden Sehen" with Lord Folter. In symbiosis with Carl Noë, cellist and also producer, who has just produced Peter Licht for the Wolf Biermann Re-Imagined project, the perfect soundscape is created for Jo, who, with or without autotune, skillfully straddles the aforementioned worlds of Hamburg School and Cloudrap.
