Raumfahrtabend – Ein Abend mit NASA Astronaut Chris Ferguson

For the fifth edition of the Space Evening, the organizers are once again bringing a top-class guest to the Mondpalast. The American space shuttle astronaut Christopher "Chris" Ferguson is coming to Germany exclusively for this evening on June 17, 2026. Ferguson has flown into space three times, once as a pilot and twice as commander, and helped build the International Space Station (ISS) with his crews. Navy Captain Chris Ferguson was the commander of the last space shuttle mission (STS-135) in 2011.
In addition to a lecture, there will be a panel discussion where the audience can also ask questions. Finally, there will be an autograph session where every visitor can get a personal autograph. One autograph is included in the ticket price, others can be purchased on site for a fee.
If you wish, you can buy a VIP Meet & Greet ticket for a fee to talk to Chris Ferguson in person (max. 25 people) before the event at 5 pm. There will be enough time for questions, photos and a maximum of two autographs. Additional autographs can also be purchased here for a fee.
The evening will once again be hosted by space expert Christopher Methler and presenter Michael Wurst, Bochum singer and stadium announcer for VfL Bochum.
There will be exciting sales and exhibition stands in the foyer.
