JÜRGEN'S DISCO TREFF open the Tumult with alcopop or unemployed jazz!

JÜRGEN'S DISCO TREFF is a music group that wants to inspire both the drinking milieu and Dieter Bohlen fans with a mixture of funk, disco and jazz. Because both worlds deserve culture. Intended as cultural social aid in the form of initial rehearsals in the city park with battery amplifiers, the four musicians quickly ended up on stages such as: Living rooms of hippie communes, stuffy cultural summers or large venues such as the Oude Marie in Dorsten. Whether you call it alcopop or unemployed jazz, the lyrics are concise and authentic and deal with social and valuable encounters with Polish drinkers or Beate from Gelsenkirchen-Schalke, who incidentally was almost abandoned by her husband Ingo. The drummer's arms hit precisely, like an MPC 2000 XL from earlier times. The synthesizer keys are extinguished with a fire blanket after every concert, because then even the last can of Paderborner is empty. The Disco Treff is aimed at everyone who wants to dance and especially at people who want to talk about bad-tasting cigarettes from Norma.

Our session aims to offer everyone a stage to make music together, regardless of previous musical knowledge or style. We want to create a supportive and appreciative atmosphere in which everyone can feel comfortable and try things out. A space for exchange and experimentation.
TUMULT is expressly encouraged.

You can bring your own instruments or use the ones we provide. There are amps for guitar and bass, a keyboard, a drum set and microphones for vocals. Technical support is also available.

We focus on a respectful atmosphere. Take care of yourselves and others during the session. Be supportive and encouraging. The stage is for everyone and should promote exchange and break down barriers. Any kind of racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory contributions in the performances will not be tolerated.
