Open the door! My world
Dance theater based on an idea by Neele Buchholz
"Send the people to the labyrinth.
Open the door to my life.
Lie back, enjoy it.
Something is happening! " - Neele Buchholz
Are there actually avatars and princesses with disabilities?
What kind of world is Disney?
The Beast isn't ugly at all!
Together, Neele, Anne and Tom get to the bottom of the thoughts and topics that occupy Neele. They look for similarities and obstacles and play with changing perspectives and roles. They experience and question fairy tales and find their own answers. Texts written by Neele and self-chosen pieces of music play a major role. They inspire and are brought to life through performance. Neele wants to show other people what it is like to have Down's syndrome and how she sees the world. The audience is invited to experience the world through Neele's eyes.
