In the organizer's words:

On Doors Open Day with the Sendung mit der Maus, we give children a look behind the scenes of museum work. Various members of the team present their jobs and areas of responsibility interactively.

Join us on an exciting journey of discovery through the Lenbachhaus and accompany works of art on their journey through the museum: from carefully unpacking works of art to restoration and exhibition. You will get to know various museum professions, examine works of art, develop creative ideas for communication and design your own flyer or publication. You will become part of our museum team and playfully help to design an exhibition!

Every child can visit the Doors Open Day with the Sendung mit der Maus for 105 minutes. Participation in several time slots is not possible.

The children take part in the event without the adults. Those accompanying the children can view the exhibitions at the same time; Free admission for a maximum of two people.
