TURNS: Uncensored Clinic

In the "TURNS: Sounding Out Health" series, a special collaboration between Hertzlab and guest artists will be created in July. "Uncensored Clinic" is an immersive multiplayer performance by artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley (Tate Modern, Berghain) in collaboration with composer and Hertzlab intern Rochelle Than (Stanford). A speculative clinic unfolds in the unique spatial sound of the sound dome at the ZKM, in which listeners become participants. Between soundscape, game aesthetics and performative care, an interactive space for healing, confrontation and radical empathy is created.
