Without words, four virtuoso nerds speak a musical language of dub, hip-hop, Caribbean and Afro-American beats, sometimes trappy. Based and Tchamp (Seeed), Mo'Leen O'Swald and Berger (himself!) create an acoustic dramaturgy that perceives people as holistic, wave-sensing beings: 100% bounce mood! "Add to that reaching for the game console - party sounds and wake-up calls are always a measure!" say Tchamp and Based, who have been playing with Seeed for as long as they can remember. "It's part of the great heritage of Jamaican sound systems, you can't do without it!" The first vinyl EP "Jackie" was released in fall 2022. The first ideas for the tracks were born during the last Seeed production "Bam Bam" - at that time still with founding member El Gris on bass.

"We realized that we also harmonize well as a trio and share a similar musical vision. So it was clear that we were starting a long-term project," says the band. "We simply wanted to release these four gems as a pure instrumental EP and take the sound on the road!" Complete with Dirk Berger (The Krauts) on guitar, the band has been on the road live ever since. They play their own high-intensity club gigs as well as powerful support shows for Peter Fox (2023) and the Beatsteaks (2024). Mo'Leen O'Swald has replaced El Gris on bass, who is now gathering new inspiration while fly fishing in the vastness of Patagonia. "Mo has the big feet and the fat sound to fill Tobi's huge shoes, it was an immediate fit," confirms Based. Tutti Bounce is currently stuck in her Kreuzberg studio working on new tracks.
