Science fiction author and taz columnist Theresa Hannig reads from her new collection of essays "Über Morgen" and answers questions from the audience.

Times are bad, the future looks bleak... - No! The future will be great! At least that's what time traveler Felix tells our columnist Theresa Hannig. And he should know, because he's from the year 2125 and is visiting the old-fashioned past - our present - with a mission: to restore the author's faith in a better future (and to reveal a few exclusive insider tips along the way).

Theresa Hannig has been publishing her Über Morgen column in taz once a month since the end of 2022. Felix tells our author about fact checks for politicians and powerful prosumer unions. He knows that the right-wing extremists in Saxony and Thuringia will soon be founding their doomed empire and that UNESCO is employing vacation spoilers to put a stop to mass tourism. Whether living in tree houses, diverse family models or knockout competitions between pensioners - Felix reports on what the world will look like in 100 years; not always as expected, sometimes grotesque or satirical, often with a wink and without being afraid to speak unpleasant truths.

Hannig shows with her texts that the complex problems of the present lose their horror when viewed from the future and can be solved in many different ways. It depends on the attitude with which we face the challenges of the present. Giving up is not an option. And in the end, it is we who make history by shaping the world with our actions, our commitment and our solidarity in such a way that Felix will be able to report on it with hope in 100 years' time.
