Bremen celebrates its music scene!
The 14th Überseefestival is planned for Fri 30 + Sat 31 August 2024

...this is how we know and love the Überseefestival, which has established itself as an integral part of the open air scene in Bremen for 16 years now.

Starting out as an association summer festival, the Überseefestival has developed into one of the most important free and open-air events on the Bremen scene. True to the motto "by musicians for musicians", the festival is largely organized by the members of Musikszene Bremen e.V. on a voluntary basis.

The organization team decided a few years ago to make the motto "100% Bremen" the leitmotif for the selection of acts, which has always focused on bands with Bremen roots. The large proportion of up-and-coming bands from all genres in the line-up remains true to this motto. This makes the festival a kind of showcase for the local Bremen music scene in terms of its supra-regional perception. Just how diverse this is is shown by the more than 100 applications we receive every year.

BREMEN BANDS MAKE SOME NOISE!

With the motto 100% Bremen, we have been presenting bands exclusively from Bremen or with Bremen connections for years.
