The guided tour of the current exhibition is now also available in Ukrainian!

War has been raging in Ukraine for over three years, but many media outlets are now focusing their attention on other crises. People continue to be killed every day, families are in fear and the population is trying to maintain normality.

These works were first presented at the Comic Salon 2024 in Erlangen and can now be seen at schauraum: comic + cartoon in Dortmund.

The exhibition offers a unique insight into the reality of life in a war-torn country and shows comics that tell stories of resistance, loss, hope and survival. They illustrate the emotional and social impact of war and remind us that behind the headlines are people and their experiences.
