For over four decades now, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has been touring the world with astonishing success: China, USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and, of course, all over Europe.

Whether at the Queen's private birthday party at Windsor Castle, at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall, in Carnegie Hall or the Sydney Opera House...

Since 1985, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain's declared mission has been to confront the seriousness of life with charm, British wit, surprising arrangements, a good dose of self-irony and the sheer joy of playing and entertaining: The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has thus developed into an internationally renowned institution that is not afraid to reinvent itself time and again.

Celebrate the 40th anniversary with us, with a rapid sprint through all musical genres: from ABBA to ZZ Top, from Tchaikovsky to Nirvana, from bluegrass to Lady Gaga and maybe even a spaghetti western thrown in for good measure.
