un_unterbrochen. Sprechen über rechte Gewalt - Stadtführung zu Orten Rechter Gewalt in Köln

In the organizer's words:

What it's all about
How does media coverage influence our view of right-wing terror? What consequences does this have for the work of the police and the justice system? What does it take for those affected to start talking and regain the power to interpret their own grief? How do we talk about right-wing violence and what does this do to us as a society? And what does all this have to do with racism and anti-Semitism? We want to talk to you about all of this.

That's why you have to come
The documentary film trilogy EINZELTÄTER: München, Hanau, Halle traces the constants of right-wing violence in Germany and critically questions social narratives about it. Three film screenings in Mülheim's Raum für Alle, as well as a city tour to places of right-wing violence in Cologne and a panel discussion with experts and those affected will make the reality of right-wing violence visible.

Pssst!
The interaction between the city tour, screenings and discussions makes tangible what the term "individual perpetrator" obscures: The string of right-wing extremist acts of violence in Germany has never been interrupted and is visible in our streets.

Note on the city tour

The city tour takes us to four places in Cologne where right-wing violence has left (in)visible traces. There we want to learn more about these acts and the dynamics behind them, as well as talk about the consequences for those directly and indirectly affected.

We will meet on Saturday, 3.5.2025 from 11:30 am at Lenauplatz in Cologne-Ehrenfeld to start together at 12:00 pm to the first station. At Lenauplatz, all participants will receive headphones so that they can follow the speakers at each station.

The routes between the stations are covered independently. We recommend using a bicycle or public transportation. The route is planned so that both are possible. We provide rickshaw seats and wheelchair rickshaw seats for people who are unable to ride a bike due to an impairment or disability. These can be booked free of charge during ticketing, as long as there are still places available.

The routes between the individual stations are not part of the event and are covered by the participants on their own responsibility, at their own risk and by a route chosen by each participant. The Sommerblut-Kulturfestival, the Dokomotive platform and VARIANTE exclude liability for the distances traveled between the stations.
