In this format, two musicians from Hanover meet people with whom they have probably never spoken before. The result is fascinating conversations about professional matters, similarities, differences and much more!
The people responsible for two formative festivals in Hanover come together: Nina Lucia Lehmann, part of the organizing team of the KiezKultur Festival, which has developed into a crowd-puller in a very short time, meets the internationally renowned composer and future director of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen, Brigitta Muntendorf.
Nina Lucia Lehmann founded the KiezKultur Festival in 2022 together with a small team. Her goal: to show that young, vibrant pop culture doesn't just take place in Berlin, Hamburg or Cologne - but also in the heart of Hanover. The 4th edition of the KiezKultur Festival will take place from October 17-18.
We are delighted to welcome Brigitta Muntendorf, who will be taking over the directorship of the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen from the next edition in May 2026, as her discussion partner. The multi-award-winning composer is an internationally innovative and influential voice and is known for her interdisciplinary work between music, theater and digital media.
The evening offers one of the first opportunities to experience Brigitta Muntendorf in person in Hanover on a small scale and to find out more about her plans for the KunstFestSpiele.
Together with Nina Lucia Lehmann, we will talk about festival work, artistic visions and the question of how different cultural formats can bring people together and create experiences today. An inspiring encounter for everyone who is enthusiastic about music, art and festival-making.
