Unbaked Collective: Herdengeflüster

Delicate fabrics swirl around gyrating hips, soft giggles fill the room. The movements are effortless, the looks flirtatious, but a diffuse unease spreads. Unbaked Collective thematizes girlish physicality and the desire to please at all costs. Sexualized signals are inscribed in the socialization of female children. In Herdengeflüster, choreographers Laura Louise van Meurs and Viviane Hamm free themselves from the attributions of their childhood, turn the perspective around and ask: Who are we behind the frills and bows? The performance is accompanied by Daniel Ismaili's delicate melodies and driving drums.
