UNBREAK! Aufbrüche in die Versöhnung

In the organizer's words:

A break can change everything in a tiny moment - and at the same time be the start of something new.
of something new. After being diagnosed with an incurable chronic illness, a woman encounters a
"choir of broken voices". These people, whose voices have become fragile due to age, illness or
transition, sing and speak about breaking and healing.
In UNBREAK! - BREAKING INTO DISTINCTION, *POLAR PUBLIK combines personal crises
crises with social rifts and searches for reconciliatory, hopeful narratives.

*POLAR PUBLIK is a community of artists from the genres of dance, theater, new music and visual

In cooperation with the Sommerblut Kulturfestival, studiobühneköln, the Friedensbüro der Stadt Augsburg and the Forschungsinstitut Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt, supported by the Kulturamt der Stadt Köln, Aktion Mensch, the Kunststiftung NRW, the Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft NRW and the NRW Landesbüro Freie Darstellende Künste.

Information on accessibility:

• The event space is barrier-free accessible.
• Barrier-free toilets are available.
• Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome.
• On May 10 and 11, the performance will be accompanied by an audio description and touch tour.
  The touch tour starts at 18:30.
• The nearest parking spaces for people with disabilities are located at Sudermanplatz.
• Please let us know if you would like to be picked up from the nearest bus or train stop and accompanied to the venue.
