Unchained, Munich's indoor and outdoor dance music marathon, celebrates it's last dance at Blitz Club and it's scenic Posthof open air courtyard this August 2025 with a whopping 36hour sensation before reaching out to new shores. Longer than ever and with a dazzling lineup to mark the festival's final celebration at the iconic club & posthof!

What began as a gathering to connect generations of the dance music scenes in Munich, Berlin, and Vienna has since outgrown all expectations-evolving into a spirited celebration of dance music that sidesteps social media clout in favor of open, diverse communities, with opening concerts on Saturday evening in the Posthof from no one less than James Holden & Waclaw Zimpel, Simon Popp and Spoil, feauturing Rosa Anschütz besides Jonas Yamer & Till Funke from Carl Gari.

Unchained #4 brings back all the ingredients that made it a favorite from the start: now not just a 32-, but a 36-hour celebration, with a wide-ranging lineup featuring emerging talents and established tastemakers from across the globe-and standout live shows, too. But above all: a vibrant community.
The event unfolds across Blitz Club's renowned BLITZ and PLUS floors-both praised for their outstanding sound-plus the notorious Kitchen floor inside Blitz Bar & Bistro's dining room. And of course: the stunning Posthof open-air stage, right behind the club, offering open-air dance magic by day.

UNCHAINED, Munich's indoor & open-air party marathon - celebrates its last party at Blitz Club and the adjacent Posthof in August 2025. This time, the festival will run for a full 36 hours before setting off for new shores - longer than ever and with an impressive line-up for the grand finale at this special location.

What once began as a festival of encounters for the different generations of scenes from Munich, Berlin and Vienna has long since grown beyond itself: into a passionate celebration of electronic music that consciously opposes social media hype and instead focuses on openness, diversity and community. The festival kicks off on Saturday evening with concerts at the Posthof by none other than James Holden & Wacław Zimpel, Simon Popp and Spoil - the new project by Rosa Anschütz with Jonas Yamer & Till Funke from Carl Gari.

Unchained #4 brings back everything that made the festival so special from the very beginning: now not 32, but 36 hours long, with a wide-ranging line-up of up-and-coming talents and established greats from all over the world - including outstanding live performances. But as always, the focus is on the community.

The event takes place in all rooms of the Blitz Club: the BLITZ and PLUS floors, both known for their excellent sound quality; the infamous Kitchen Floor in the Blitz Bar & Bistro - and of course the breathtaking open-air floor in the Posthof, right behind the club, where people dance in the open air during the day on Saturdays and Sundays.
