In the organizer's words:

In "Und mache mir die Welt", choreographer and theater maker Marie Nützel explores the question of how children and young people encounter and deal with the major - often unsettling - issues of our time. Where are the spaces that offer refuge and protection when the world gets too loud again?

"And make me the world" takes the world view of Pippi Longstocking a step further and believes in the power of little people, in their courage to help shape the world of big people.

So that, in the best case scenario, we are not all quite so alone in all this mess.
