In the organizer's words:
They feel unheard: many farmers are struggling with government regulations, economic constraints and a public that often hardly knows anything about agriculture. In our panel discussion, we will debate with experts from agriculture, science, media, politics and with you about the current areas of tension - and about possible solutions.
When tractors honk their horns as they drive through the big cities, some people realize how great the mutual lack of understanding between farmers, politicians and society has become. But why do many farmers feel a growing sense of alienation? How can bridges be built between agricultural reality and different social expectations?
In our panel discussion at the "FORUM im Futurium", we will examine economic, social and communicative aspects in order to explore ways to achieve a better understanding together. Join Harald Asel to discuss the current areas of tension - and possible solutions for a more sustainable and socially acceptable agriculture. How can a constructive dialog succeed that brings together the different wishes of society and different forms of agricultural production?
"FORUM im Futurium" is a joint event by rbb24 Inforadio and Futurium, the House of Futures.
