About the event:
Four people, four points of view, four different ways of approaching their own themes in movement. Inspiration for the pieces lurks everywhere: be it the search for freedom in everyday life, the struggle between wheelchair and stairs or the longing for connection and understanding beyond language. The result is an evening of four short pieces that draw on autobiographical material on the one hand and translate it from other art forms on the other - from their own texts and visual art. Between formal rigor and everyday poetry, between pop and silence, between intimate closeness, rough and tumble and respectful distance, there is a common denominator: to set one's own inner life in motion. The "Perspectives" project helps people with disabilities into artistic leadership positions and offers them a professional platform to tell their unique stories.
The unperform association now knows a number of people in Bremen who not only have their own view of the world and their own strong opinions on social and cultural issues due to their disability. They also feel the need to express these opinions artistically, to address a broad audience and to create an artistic and productive environment, a community.

All public areas of the Schwankhalle are accessible at ground level and without steps.
There are three different toilets: a barrier-free toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users, a toilet with 3 toilet cubicles and a toilet with urinals and a toilet cubicle.
The public area is generally seated.
The wheelchair spaces are located in the front row and can be reserved in advance by telephone on 0421 520 80 70, by email at ticket@schwankhalle.de or by entering them in the ticket store.
Individual requirements such as specific seats, early boarding or an additional ticket for an accompanying person can also be specified when purchasing or reserving tickets.
